So, this post is more of a “I went to a beautiful place and took way too many pictures” piece, as opposed to a “let me be reflective” thing (because honestly, you and I both can only take so much of that).
When I was little, I used to get so bored just going to the beach, because I always wanted to have things to do. Now, at eighteen I think I finally understand how wonderful it is to just lay on a blanket in the sun for hours and do absolutely nothing.
Anyways, Charleston is a beautiful town, I have beautiful friends, and I don’t think I could ever explain how nice it is to actually get a moment to breathe during one of the busiest times of the year. Tomorrow, I’ll head back to school and begin the busiest month of my entire semester. But for now, I have a sunburnt back, an empty bank account, and a smile on my face, because adventures with friends are what make life worth living.
